Online Poker Dealer School Taught By Professional Poker Dealer

You can make good money dealing poker, but only those dedicated to learning the fundamentals of poker dealing are the most successful & make the most money.

Are you really poker dealer material? Don't go any further until you've read our free report 'What It Takes To Deal Poker'.

Neither could Travis, until he enrolled in Dealer Training. Watch him go to work dealing this hand of Texas Hold'em, as eager poker players patiently wait until a thorough dealing process has been completed.

Hello Prospective Dealer,

My name is Brad, creator of Dealer Training and co-founder of the Atlanta Poker Club, a pub poker league, which plays poker all over Georgia. Dealer Training was created to teach dealers in the APC how to deal like a professional. This is what helps set our club apart from our competitors, as we always have the best dealers. This makes it more enjoyable for the player. Your job as a dealer is to deal the game properly and to make the game enjoyable for the players. This way they'll want to come back whether you deal for a poker league or a casino. Jason, creator and co-founder of the Atlanta Poker Club, and I hosted our first game back in 2004, and as luck would have it, one of the very first players in the league was a professional casino poker dealer who had previously dealt at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The Bellagio is well known for having some of the best poker dealers in Vegas. She was instrumental in helping create Dealer Training (Dealer-Training.com), the internet’s best online, home-based poker dealing course. You will see her in many of the dealer training videos.

Why We Created The Professional Poker Dealing Course…

One of the first challenges we faced with the Atlanta Poker Club was that we needed really good dealers. A player doesn't tolerate incompetent dealers and neither does the APC. But when we looked up the prices to send dealers to a land based poker dealing school our mouths hit the floor!

We were shocked by how expensive the poker dealing schools are! There was absolutely no way we could afford to attend a live poker dealing school with the cost of tuition, travel, hotel, food, etc.

We needed an inexpensive, yet thorough, dealer training solution and we needed it fast.

Atlanta Poker Club Online
  • We scoured the internet, nothing…
  • We went to the bookstore, nothing…
  • We were done for… (or so we first thought)

So, we created the Dealer Training program from square one. It now allows aspiring poker dealers from around the world to learn how to deal poker fast and easy, from the comfort of their home.

Dealer Training is the easiest, fastest & most cost effective way to learn to deal poker like a pro!

Professional Dealer Training Taught by Veteran Bellagio Poker Dealer

When we met Tami D., she was a Bellagio Poker Dealer who just happened to be living in Atlanta at the time. She was on hiatus from casino dealing and actually wanted to deal in our poker league games to keep her skills ‘fresh’.

Tami showed us how Bellagio poker dealers deal poker. It is way different than the dealers in the local home games we normally play in. She showed us how to deal both tournaments and cash games with a focus on the most popular poker game, Texas Holdem.

We knew we needed a way for Tami to train all of our Atlanta Poker Club dealers so we began working with her to create what became Dealer-Training.com, The Professional Poker Dealing Course. It is a one of a kind online poker dealing school that we use to train APC dealers to this very day! Our dealers learn to deal Texas Holdem, Omaha, 7 Card Stud and other games like a pro, from a pro.

The better poker dealer you are, the more you get paid, period. With this poker dealing course you can learn to deal from one of the best for a fraction of the cost of land based poker dealing schools.

What about the economy? I know poker was hot when Chris Moneymaker won the World Series… but are people still playing cards today?

In short, yes.

Historically, gambling has always been extremely popular and people will always find money to do a little gambling with.

Live tournament poker fields are having record entries, and poker leagues like the Atlanta Poker Club are springing up all around the country and growing in volume.

People love to gamble, plain and simple.

Regardless of how the economy is doing people find money to play poker with.

Dealing texas holdem is a great part time job opportunity. You can quickly make some “pocket money” so next time it’s your turn to buy your friends a round of drinks at the bar you do not have to put it on the Visa or stress out about if the card is going to clear.

Lean how to deal texas holdem like a pro and you will have a skill you can use to make money virtually on demand.

Every city, town, suburb and neighborhood across the USA and growing around the world are running poker games every night of the week and the players crave professional dealers!

Plus, most dealers say they enjoy dealing poker! Wouldn’t it be cool if you actually had fun, or improved your own poker game, while going to work?

It does not matter whether you’re looking to deal for your friends, local tournaments, or under the bright lights of Vegas or Atlantic City, our home based poker dealing course has provided results time and time again for many hundreds (if not thousands) of poker dealers, and it will do this for you.

Let Me Share a Secret With You . . .

If you are already a poker player and are looking for a way to supplement your bank roll then there is hardly any better time spent than that of the poker dealer. Aside from the fantastic income potential that poker dealing offers, it’s drop dead effective for improving your own poker play because you get to see so many hands from an impartial, unbiased view point. And you can use that information to improve your own game, as well.

Not many people know that two-time World Series of Poker champion Johnny Chan, or Layne Flack (who has total winnings of over $4.2 million dollars as of 2008) were professional poker dealers before going pro in the poker leagues.

In fact, in the 2004 WSOP No-Limit Event, all three players were former dealers! Scott Fischman, a player in that game, even admitted to learning to deal strictly for the sake of improving his poker play (I’m thinking he didn’t mind the extra bulk in his wallet, either).

What Gives These Guys Such an Unfair Advantage at the Tables?

Look, it doesn’t matter how many books, charts, theories, and other technical poker knowledge that you consume; there is no substitute for table experience.

Imagine getting paid several hundred dollars a night to be right in the middle of the action, discovering how to spot tells, put players on hands, and fine-tune your reads to an almost psychic ability – all without risking a dime from your pocket . . .

And of course maybe there’s the possibility that you have no interest in playing poker, and are just looking for a fast-paced, high-paying work experience – and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Discover Poker Dealer Secrets From One of the World’s Best

Back in April of 2004, when we were just about to open the doors on the Atlanta Poker Club, we needed to score top-notch dealer training.

Anyone on the Strip knows that the Bellagio has some of the absolute top-of-the-line dealers in Vegas, or anywhere else in the world for that matter…

And so we tracked down one of the Bellagio’s top dealers, Tami D., and were able to enlist her services to create our one of a kind home based poker dealing school.

We put together 10 chapters, 70 lessons, over 400 photos, and 35 videos, uncovering every last technique and tactic used by Tami, and other professional dealers, and we Tami
packaged it into a course called Dealer Training.

Needless to say, the Atlanta Poker Club has become a raging success, thanks to the professional caliber of our poker dealers, and we’re proud to say that the exact same course is now available to you.

Why pay the thousands of dollars it takes to go to a land based poker dealing school?

Packed full of videos, professional photo’s and comprehensive chapters covering in detail everything you need to know to deal poker as a professional. We designed the course to quickly you teach you the casino poker dealing standards, techniques and how to’s.

“Can I really make $250 bucks dealing poker?”

It’s a fair question, so I would like to break it down for you.

A professional poker dealer can average roughly 35 hands per hour depending on the game they are dealing. Limit games go faster while no-limit games generally take a little longer per hand on average.

Most dealers are paid via tips, usually from each hand dealtl. Dealing 35 hands per hour at $1 tip per hand then it is going to take roughly three hours to earn $100 dollars.

Earning $100 for three hours of work is not bad at all in todays job market…

If you deal a big pot, you will see bigger tips…

Bigger tips increase your earnings exponentially. Now we are talking sometimes up to $50, $60 or even $70 more per hour in your pocket.

In an average $1/2 game many dealers make over $250 of cold hard cash for an evenings worth of work.

Money in your pocket money, too. And you do not have to live near a casino to make this kind of money dealing poker!

Here’s just a taste of what’s included in Dealer Training . . .

“So What Makes Dealer Training Different From a Land-Based School?”

Good question. One of the most unique aspects of Dealer Training is that it’s a 100% online course.

What that means: No matter if it’s 2pm or 2am, you can order Dealer Training at any time and you’ll receive immediate access.

What’s even better is that because of this 100% online nature, you’re able to complete the course at your own leisure.

Compare that to a land-based school, where not only do you have to figure in travel and accomodations, but you’re also having to take 6-8 weeks off of work, and you can see just how much more convenient the Dealer Training program
really is.

In addition to training at your own schedule, our program allows you to repeat any training modules as many times as you may want or need; something that’s just not an option with land-based training.

No hidden or additional fees . . . EVER. You see, not only is Dealer Training available for 1/6th of the cost of tuition at a land-based school, you’ll never have to worry about paying a single additional cent outside of the original cost. No monthly fees, no “upgrade charges,” nothing.

And speaking of upgrades . . . Any future upgrades to the Dealer Training course will be provided to you absolutely free of charge!

“Ok, This Sounds Great, But What’s it Gonna Cost Me?”

Considering that tuition for the average dealer training school starts at $1200 (then add on travel expenses, accomodations, and time spent away from work), surely offering you a program led by one of the top dealers in Vegas… one that you can follow along with at home, at your own pace… could easily sell for as much.

Add to that the fact that we invested over $30,000 in production cost in order to bring this program to life… And not to mention just how lucrative just a single night of dealing at a professional level can be…

But we didn’t want to make this something only for the rich… No, we wanted to make Dealer Training available to anyone who truly wanted to get the skills necessary to deal professionally…

We’ve decide to offer Dealer Training for only $197 only $97! That’s $120 off of the price we’ve sold it for since 2004!

Here, let me break it down for you . . .

Earlier I mentioned how a professionally trained dealer can deal an average of about 35 hours an hour, can expect a minimum of a $1-2 tip per hand, and to work around a 4 hour shift . . .

Using those numbers, we’re talking about $175-$350… In other words, it is possible to cover the cost of this program in your first night of dealing!

Georgia, otherwise known as the Peach State, and its 10 million residents could support a thriving real money online poker community. Unfortunately, due to its deeply rooted aversion to gambling, GA likely never will be the legal real cash Internet poker haven its citizens want it to be – at least not until the Federal government gets involved.

With that said, the entire United States is in a state of flux with regards to gambling and lawful poker betting websites in 2020. Over a dozen states that once opposed the erection of casino resorts that included real money poker gambling tables have either approved legislature allowing for their construction or are weighing in on the issue. Others, like Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware have already regulated online real money betting and gambling.

And yes, even Georgia is at least musing about the potential benefits of opening a commercial casino with a legit poker room for Texas Hold’em poker and other real cash poker gambling. That doesn’t mean they’ll ever pass a bill regulating online gambling and Internet poker, but it’s a small step in the right direction for GA poker betting fans. But as of the time of this writing, Georgia’s anti-gambling and anti-legal poker website stance is among the strictest of any state in the Union.

It’s not all peachy in Georgia when it comes to clearly defined gambling laws. Even so, Georgia residents will be able to try their luck at some of2020‘s best real money US poker websites.

In 2012, Republican voters in GA narrowly voted in favor of using revenues from casino and real money poker gaming to fund education [1]. It marked the first time in state history that Georgia voiced its support of legal real cash poker and gambling in any way.

Unfortunately, the vote would have little influence on state legislators thinking about making Internet poker legal and letting GA residents enjoy real money poker betting. In a statement recorded shortly after the results of the vote were tallied, Governor Nathan Deal reminded Georgia’s citizens that he would not support the construction of casinos or poker gambling rooms within The Peach State, and that a much larger approval margin would be required among legislators before a bill relating to real money offline and Internet gambling could take root.

Several months earlier, developer Dan O’Leary unveiled his plans to build an entertainment facility in Norcross [2]. The $1 billion poker betting and casino gambling hub would feature a staggering 7,500 video lottery terminals.

While some believe that a real money legal poker room and casino would have a degenerative effect on Georgia’s citizens, there are others who see them as a means of righting the state’s economic woes. This could be a good sign of things to come because if GA want to use real money poker and gambling to make money for the state, then opening a lawful Internet poker website regulated by GA would be a great way to boost the budget. O’Leary falls into the latter category and agrees that legal betting on casino games like Texas Hold’em poker could help Georgia out of their money trouble. He argued that his real cash betting casino could generate $350 million a year for the state’s fledgling college scholarship program.

As of 2020, no legislation has been passed that validates the existence of a land-based casino or legal poker room. If anything, Georgia has spent more attention on enforcing laws that regulate existing real money video poker terminals than it has to the whole casino gambling debate [3].

Can Players From Georgia Play Online Poker?

Surprisingly, most if not all US facing poker sites accept real money poker players from the Peach State in 2020.

Someday there might be Federal legislation in place that regulates online poker and makes US Internet poker websites legal. But until then, residents of Georgia will have no problem creating an Internet poker account, depositing funds to play real money poker with and finding a juicy cash game of Texas Hold’em poker or any of the other popular Internet poker variants. Is Online Poker Legal In Georgia?

Georgia’s gambling and poker betting laws as they stand now in 2020 are among the severest we’ve seen. And while there are no GA laws that specifically target online poker websites, there is speculation that Georgia will amend its gambling laws to criminalize online gambling and real cash Internet poker.

Listed below is a quick summary of Georgia’s most noteworthy gambling and poker betting laws. Please note that in order to fully understand Georgia’s gambling laws and how they pertain to online poker and real money Internet poker gambling, we recommend that you seek the consul of a legal professional well-versed in all such legal poker matters.

  • Georgia’s gambling statues do not provide a definition of gambling. However, one can be deduced by combining the definitions of bet, gambling device, and gambling place.
  • Bets are defined as an agreement that, dependent upon chance even though accompanied by some skill, one stands to win or lose something of value. The use of the word skill implies that games like Texas Hold’em poker and other poker variants both offline and on poker websites are covered under the definition. Section 16-12-20 (1).
  • Gambling devices are any contrivance which for a consideration affords the player the opportunity to obtain money or other thing of value, the award of which is determined by chance even though accompanied by some skill. Section 16-12-20 (2).
  • A Gambling place is any real estate, building, room…or other property whatsoever, one of the principal uses of which is the making or settling of bets. Essentially, any piece of owned property where a wager is made can be classified as a gambling place.
  • Gambling on any game that involves cards, dice or balls, including poker betting, is considered a criminal offense, and anyone who commits the offense of gambling shall be guilty of a misdemeanour.

Based on the gambling statues, playing poker in any capacity, whether at an underground club or a non-raked home game, is illegal in Georgia, as is online Internet poker in [grtYear]. For that matter, according to Georgia’s penal code playing just about any game where real money betting or gambling with anything of value is involved is considered a crime. And while we aren’t certain to what degree the laws are enforced, we can say with confidence that anyone caught gambling and betting on poker or casino games will have a difficult time finding loopholes in Georgia’s gambling statues.

The Facts

The History Of Gambling In Georgia

There was a time when gambling and betting ran rampant throughout Georgia. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, residents of the state gambled on a variety of card games including real money poker, athletic events and races. During that time, it became common practice for casino and poker room establishment owners to pay off law enforcement agents to look the other way because those poker games were far from legal.

In the early 20th century, Thomas Lee Bailey (1865-1945) – an influential and outspoken newspaper editor and local leader – used his widely read Cochran Journal as an outlet for his opinions. In it, he would frequently call for stricter controls on poker and casino gambling and alcohol. The state listened.

By the 1930s – a time when most other states were loosening their position against real money poker and gambling due to the Great Depression- Georgia became one of the most anti-gambling states in the Union.

Since then, not much has changed. In 1992, Georgia regulated the sale of lottery tickets. And while the lottery has remained popular among Georgia’s citizens, GA State has proven very hesitant to expand its gambling operations into popular areas like real cash Internet poker websites and legal gambling outlets.

In more recent headlines, authorities in GA have recently begun cracking down on Internet Cafes that allow patrons to play online poker and access Internet poker websites.

Regulated Gambling Options In Georgia

The only forms of regulated gambling in Georgia are charitable bingo, raffles and the lottery. Casino nights, pari-mutuel betting, commercial casinos and even home poker games are all considered illegal in Georgia, rendering the state’s gambling offerings unattractive to those who thrive on action. So, perhaps in 2020 GA isn’t the best place for real money poker gambling fans to settle down.

Locals have begun making noise over the lack of regulated gambling and lawful poker options in the Peach State, but until their whispers become a deafening roar, it’s doubtful the state will alter its position, or even take notice.

Georgia is not a very friendly state for US online poker players, which means you’ll want to be wary of engaging in real-money online poker.

The Future Of Regulated Online Gambling In Georgia

The odds of legit Internet poker and real cash online poker betting making its way to Georgia, either in 2020 or at a later date, are almost as bad as winning its state lottery. In fact, it’s more likely that GA will prohibit online gambling and poker websites altogether than it is to regulate the Internet gambling market in Georgia.

However, due to GA State’s poor economy and suffering HOPE scholarship program [5], government officials may eventually decide to brush their issues with gambling and real cash poker like Texas Hold’em aside, and allow for the construction of a land-based casino and real money poker gambling room. But that’s a big “if”.

Fun Fact

Seasoned mixed-games real cash poker specialist David Bach hails from Athens, Georgia [6]. After playing on the WSOP and WPT poker gambling circuits for over a decade without a win, Bach would score his first major title in grand fashion when he took down the 2009 WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E World Championship. For his monumental legal poker achievement, Bach received $1.277 million and an exclusive gold bracelet.

Since then, Bach has made it to final table at three other WSOP events, none of which were decided over NLHE poker betting.

The Bottom Line

Atlanta

A slim majority of Georgia’s residents are in favor of gambling expansion and a move towards legal poker websites where GA residents can do their real money poker betting in a regulated Internet poker environment, but that doesn’t change the fact that the current Governor and most state officials are not keen on lawful Internet poker in the Peach State. Georgia’s economic woes offer gamblers and poker betting fans a glimmer of hope, but given the state’s gambling laws, general position and history, it appears significantly unlikely that it will ever regulate online poker and make real money Internet poker legal.

In a more likely scenario, GA’s real cash poker players will travel to nearby Florida to get their online Internet poker fix at their legit poker websites because the possibility of regulated poker websites and legal real money poker gambling in the iGaming market in the future is very real there.
