Blinds compared to Ante’s. The size of the ante is usually quite small in comparison to the big blind, in example; the blind bet may be $750, while the ante is only $25.The major difference between antes and blinds is that the antes are paid by every player in the hand while the blinds are paid only by 2 players in the hand. In an effort to speed up the game, poker tournaments are experimenting with a tweaked process for posting antes called the “Big Blind Ante.” In Big Blind Ante games, instead of each player posting an ante at the beginning of a hand, the BB antes for the entire table. So far, players overwhelmingly like the big blind ante format. The amount of Ante DOES NOT AFFECT the size of the following bets. Hence, it is a dead amount put to increase the size of the pot. If Ante is $1, the bet amounts are not affected and are based on.

Poker Blinds And Antes
Similar topic: WSOP and other tournaments often keep antes the same for 2 or 3 levels, while blinds are increasing. So the first level (where antes large compared to blinds) should be played aggressively while the next level(s) with same antes should be played more passively. There will be one single ante posted for the whole table by the player in the Big Blind. The ante is posted first and players from any position will be eligible to win the entire ante regardless of chip stack. Antes never reduce until end of tournament.
